Black Rhino Park (Pilanesberg), South Africa

One of four chetaah cups that (a minute earlier) had just filled its belly with impala that its mother hunted in the forrest (not in the open, amazing)

As the black rhino lives a rather hidden life in the bushes, one usually meets with the white rhino only. This is a still young one accompaning its mother.

A male white rhino not even feeling a bit disturbed by us.

a male lion …

… and his sleeping brother

The African Elephant is always impressing. This mom may raise two kids (ast least both followed her everywhere).

These are no water buffaloes, but African Buffaloes (weighing more than an American Bison). The young is only a few days old.
